Apex is a new kind of publication for Acura, the luxury brand of American Honda Motor Co. Replacing a previous mass-market publication, Apex was built from the ground up, inspired by the inventive spirit of the company itself. The backdrop for Issue 1 was the reinvention of Acura’s new supercar, the NSX. Issues 2 and 3 are currently in production as Totem continues its partnership with Acura.
As a magazine, Apex breaks many of the rules of a traditional auto publication and also includes technology, lifestyle and travel content. Using bold typography and incorporating the design and editorial approach of successful contemporary independent magazines, it is a premium product created for Acura’s highest value customers.
